Return & Exchange Policy – The Only Oud

At The Only Oud, we always strive to ensure your satisfaction with your purchases. As we deal with products of a special nature (perfumes and oud), our return and exchange policy is subject to the following terms:


1. Time Frame

Requests for return or exchange are accepted within 7 days only from the date of order delivery.


2. Return & Exchange Conditions

To complete a return or exchange request, the following conditions must be met:

  • The product must be in its original condition and in its original packaging, unopened.

  • The product must not be used or tested directly from the original bottle (unless a sample is provided).

  • The original invoice or order number must be available.


3. Non-Returnable Cases

Returns or exchanges are not accepted in the following cases:

  • If the plastic wrap has been opened or the security seals have been removed.

  • Products that have been altered or damaged by the customer.

  • Special offers or final sale items (unless there is a manufacturing defect).


4. Oud (Bakhoor) Testing Policy

  • Customers are allowed to test up to 2 grams of oud wood.

  • If usage exceeds this amount, the product is no longer eligible for return.

  • The oud must be returned in its original condition without being mixed with other types.


5. Shipping Fees

  • If the return/exchange is due to an error from the store (wrong or defective product), the store bears all shipping costs.

  • If the return/exchange is based on the customer’s preference, the customer bears the shipping costs (both ways).


6. Refund Process

  • The product will be inspected once it arrives at our warehouse.

  • If the return is approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method within 7 to 14 business days (depending on your bank’s policy).
